Volunteer Training

Next sessions held: September 2026 

  • 📅 Our next training sessions will run in  September 2026.
  • Training includes:
    -Eight 3.5-hour in-person sessions
    -Approximately an hour of online pre-work for each class
    -Three hours of court observation
  • Help us make a difference by signing up or spreading the word. Together, we can ensure every child has a voice and a brighter future. 
 
 
 
 
 

Coffee with CASA at Cedar’s Coppice

An initiative from our CASA Program to raise awareness and build community, and we’re picking sessions back up this fall! This September, Coffee with CASA will be on a Tuesday morning (8-10AM), instead of Monday. Come get a drink and sit and chat with us! There will be a mix of a few people from our staff, volunteers, or our board at each Coffee With CASA, ready to wish you a good morning and talk about our mission, or whatever is on your mind. We’ll see you on Tuesday, September 22nd at Cedar’s Coppice. ☕😊

 

 

Comfort Que Presents: Music & Meat Festival 2026 Benefiting CASA of Bastrop, Fayette & Lee Counties

Bring your lawn chairs and cold drinks and enjoy a day of music! BBQ will be available for purchase. Big Band music, singer-songwriters, blues, and Country will be featured.

CASA Bake Sale at the 20th Annual Heroes & Hot Rods Car Show

Heroes & Hot Rods is bringing hundreds of incredible rides to Downtown Bastrop for two days of cars, community, food and fun — all while honoring our Veterans and First Responders.

CASA will have a booth with a bake sale near the courthouse on Saturday, Nov. 14th, starting at 9 AM.

 

 

Trot with Tracy’s for CASA 5k!

The event is more than just a race – it’s an opportunity for our community to come together in support of a vital mission: supporting children and their families with a case in the child welfare system. As the frontline supporters of our community, CASA BFL (Court Appointed Special Advocates of Bastrop, Fayette & Lee Counties) provides trained volunteer advocates who speak up for children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring they have a voice in the court system and the visibility they deserve.
We are excited to share that 100% of proceeds received will go directly to CASA BFL to support their work.
The Trot with Tracy’s 5k will start promptly at 8 AM on Saturday, November 21st and runners will have until 10 AM to complete the 5k route in historic downtown Bastrop. Local food and beverage vendors will set up at Fisherman’s Park for an after-party and raffle announcement.
We look forward to a morning of fun-filled community celebrations.
