March morning and evening sessions in 2025 | Volunteer Training – spring session

  • đź“… Our next training sessions run from March to April 2025.
  • Training includes:
    Eight 3.5-hour in-person sessions
    Approximately an hour of online pre-work for each class
    Three hours of court observation
    Help us make a difference by signing up or spreading the word. Together, we can ensure every child has a voice and a brighter future. 
 

CASA Day at the Capitol & Volunteer Appreciation Reception

  • If you’re a volunteer or CASA BFL Board Member, you can join us.
  • Registration is required to attend this event.

You must register and attend CASA Day at the Capitol on March 27th if you want to also attend the Volunteer Appreciation Reception the evening of March 26th. We will have carpooling options for both events leaving from the CASA of Bastrop, Fayette & Lee Counties office. SPRINGFEST 2025 in Downtown Bastrop

  • Date: Saturday, April 12, 2025
  • Time: 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Location: Fisherman’s Park, Downtown Bastrop
  • Springfest 2025 is a day of fun, discovery, and connection for kids and families! Hosted by the Children’s Advocacy Center and CASA of Bastrop, Lee, and Fayette Counties, this free event celebrates National Child Abuse Prevention Month with exciting activities for all ages.
    🎉 What to Expect:
    – Free inflatables, games, and prizes
    – Live entertainment and performances
    – Delicious eats from local food trucks
    – Crafts and hands-on activities
    – Touch-a-truck experiences with local first responders
    – Local first responders and law enforcement games and community challenges
  • Stop by the Non-Profit Village to connect with community resources and help kids meet trusted adults in our community. like first responders, medical providers, and Bastrop Independent School District representatives and educators.
    This family-friendly festival in Fisherman’s Park is free and open to all ages! Spend a fun-filled spring day enjoying activities and entertainment while supporting important work to ensure the safety, well-being, and bright futures of children in our community.
