Faith Outreach Teams are the cornerstone of Clergy, CASA, and Community.
Is your ministry interested in serving Child Welfare needs in your community? Texas CASA Programs envision a safe and positive future for all children and families in Texas. Together, CASA of Bastrop, Fayette & Lee Counties and local congregations can create a collaborative and meaningful relationship to make an even more significant impact toward that future.

Thank you to Calvary Episcopal Church in Bastrop for this special donation!
Calvary Episcopal Church, Bastrop, TX hosted a donation drive during Child Abuse Prevention Month in April to provide essential items to the older youth we serve. Then they blessed the items on Blue Sunday before delivering them to our office. What a thoughtful and compassionate way to get involved! Thank you for the special donation.

Blue Sunday Participation from Local Congregations-
First United Methodist in Bastrop had two services that wore blue and had our CASA of Bastrop, Fayette & Lee Counties Recruiter/Trainer, Rita Coduto, come up to speak about Child Abuse Prevention Month, our CCC (Clergy, CASA & Community) Initiatives, and the volunteer work Court Appointed Special Advocates do to serve local children who have experienced abuse and neglect. They also invited Judge Eskew to give the sermon that day, and he talked a bit about the importance of CASA programs.
Colorado River Cowboy Church honored Blue Sunday. Seen here are Pastor John Spurgeon and our very own CASA Volunteer, Carole Richards, in their blue to spread awareness on Child Abuse Prevention.
